Appetizer - Brie Mini Tarts

Heat oven to 375 degrees. If using dough sheet; unroll dough; starting in center, press into 12x9 inch rectangle
- 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury Crescent Recipe Creations refrigerated seamless dough sheet or 1 can (8 oz) Pillsbury refrigerated crescent dinner rolls.
- 1 round (7 oz) Brie cheese
- 1/2 cup red pepper jelly, melted
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
Effie's One Bowl Cookies

In a large (5 quart) bowl, cream the butter & sugars
- 1/2 lb butter
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup quick oatmeal
- 1 cup coconut
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup Rice Krispier
Pfeffernuess - Grandma Selje's Recipe

Cream shortening and sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup lard
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1-1/2 cup maple syrup (or dark corn syrup)
- 1/2 cup cold coffee
- 6 cups flour
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. cloves
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. allspice
- 3 - 4 tsp. whole anise seed
- 1/2 cup chopped brazil nuts

- 1 (4-ounce) can tomato paste
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced

Tomato Bisque

- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon thyme
- 1 (28 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 1-1/2 cups reduced sodium chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1-1/2 teaspoons coarse salt
- 1/4 teaspoon finely ground black pepper
- 2/3 cup coconut milk (canned)
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley (optional)

- 1/2 pound butter
- 2/3 cup lite corn syrup
- 1-1/4 cup brown sugar

- 1 tablespoon minced garlic

- 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 1 cup bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

Tear thyme leaves from stem and mash into goat cheese
- 4 Medjool dates, cut in half lengthwise
- 1 oz. goat cheese
- 4 walnut halves
