Hamburger Potato Buns

We love the simplicity of these buns, which are ideal for serving a crowd of hungry burger fans
- BUNS:
- 3 cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
- 1/4 cup potato flour or 1/2 cup dry potato flakes
- 1/4 cup Baker's Special Dry Milk or nonfat dry milk
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup lukewarm water
- TOPPING:
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
Favorite Chocolate Coffee Cookies

- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup shortening, room temperature
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract (can use maple extract)
- 1 large egg, lightly beaten
- 1-3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons instant coffee granules (for a more intense coffee flavore increase to 3 teaspoons)
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4-1 cup cup semi sweet chocolate chips
Chocolate Buttercream

Step 1 Stiff Consistency: In large bowl, cream shortening and butter with electric mixer
- 1/2 cup solid vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine, softened
- 3/4 cup cocoa or three 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate squares, melted
- 1 teaspoon clear vanilla extract
- 4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar (approximately 1 lb.)
- 3-4 tablespoons milk
Cinnamon Rolls with Maple Frosting

- Filling:
- 1 C scalded milk
- 3/4 C warm water
- 1 T yeast
- 1 1/2 t salt
- 1/2 C sugar
- 4 T butter
- 2 eggs
- 5-6 C flour

- 4 T butter, softened
- 2 t cinnamon
- 1/2 C brown sugar

- Maple Frosting:
- 4 T butter, softened
- 5 C powdered sugar
- 3 T maple syrup
- 1 t vanilla
- Dash of salt
- 1/4-1/3 C milk
Club Pasta Salad

If you love club sandwiches, this pasta salad is something you are sure to enjoy
- 2 cups uncooked shell pasta
- 1 (1 ounce) packet Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing Mix
- 4 slices cooked crispy bacon (crumbled)
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 1/2 cups cooked turkey or chicken (cut into chunks)
- 1/2 cup cherry tomatoes (halved)
- 1/2 cup cheddar cheese (julienned or cubed)
- 4 cups romaine lettuce (torn into pieces)
3-Cheese Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese

Recommended Hamilton Beach Product: 6 Quart Slow Cooker
- Cooking spray
- 2 cups shredded cheddar and Monterey jack cheese blend
- 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups 2% milk
- 2 12 oz. cans evaporated milk
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
- 2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
- 1 pound uncooked macaroni noodles
- 1 teaspoon ground paprika
Dill Refrigerator Pickles

This is a very easy recipe from the booklet Favorite Pickles & Relishes
- 2 dill heads (I have substituted 3 tablespoons dill seeds)
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 2 tablespoons mixed pickling spices
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 cup white vinegar
- 8 cups water
- 1/4 cup pickling salt
- 1 gallon pickling cucumbers
Thelma's Chocolate Eclair Dessert

I love eclairs but making the actual pastry is difficult so I came up with this recipe as a substitute
- 18 whole graham crackers
- 3 1/2 cups cold milk
- 2 packages (3.4 ounces each) instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 carton (8 ounces) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 2 ounces semisweet chocolate
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon light corn syrup

Robyn's Fish Stick Tacos
