Make-Your-Own Chili Seasoning Mix

I have been making my own homemade chili seasoning for almost ten years now
- 1 Tablespoon flour
- 2 Tablespoons minced onion
- 1 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
Big Grandma's Best Peanut Butter Cookies

"This is my husband's grandmother's recipe that is cherished by the family
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup Butter Flavor Crisco
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter ( Skippy)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 cups flour ( 1/4 cup more if needed)
Honey Chicken Stir-Fry

There is nothing more satisfying than making Stir Fry dishes at home
- 4 large egg whites
- 2/3 cup cornstarch or flour (I used cornstarch)
- 3/8 cup olive oil (I used about 1/3 cup total)
- 1 1/2 - 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 1 1/2 cups sugar snap peas (snow peas can be substituted)
- 1/8 cup soy sauce (I used 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lb thin sliced boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1/2 cup honey
- Salt and pepper
Best Ever Banana Bread

- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/3 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup mashed bananas
- 1 1/2 cups white sugar
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans (optional)
Lee Roy Selmon's Mama's Meatloaf

The best part of Selmon's mama's meatloaf is that, when served "Selmon's style," it's a perfect tailgate dish
- 2 Tablespoons butter
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup diced green pepper
- 1/2 c. diced celery
- 2 pounds ground beef (80/20 mix)
- 1 pound ground pork or 1 pound ground veal
- 1 cup dry bread crumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

- 1 small head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces (about 5 cups)
- 2 ounces cooked ham, cut into strips (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 ounces cooked turkey breast, cut into strips (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 ounces Swiss cheese, cut into cubes (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 hard-cooked egg, sliced (optional)
- 1 medium tomato, cut into wedges
- 1/2 cup Pepperidge Farm Zesty Italian Croutons
- Prepared Italian salad dressing or French salad dressing

- 2 lbs beef chuck roast, cut in chunks
- 1 medium onion
- 1 stalk celery
- 6 carrots, peeled
- 2 potatoes, peeled
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 4 tablespoons tapioca
- 1 (13 ounce) can tomato juice or
- 1 can condensed tomato soup
- 2 cups beef broth (optional - I like to add more liquid)
- 1 cup frozen peas

- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and
- deveined with tails attached
- 4 cups oil for frying
