  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 ½ tsp. salt

Melt choc. Chips and butter in saucepan; stirring until smooth

  • Brownies:
  • 2 C. sugar 1 ½ C. flour
  • 1/2 ½ C. baking cocoa ½ tsp. salt
  • 1 C. vegetable oil 4 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla ½ C. nuts (optional)
  • Combine sugar, flour, cocoa and salt. Add oil, eggs and vanilla; beat at medium speed for 3 minutes. Stir in nuts. Pour in greased 9x13. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool completely.
  • Filling:
  • 1/2 ½ C. butter, softened
  • 1/2 ½ C. brown sugar
  • 1/4 ¼ C. sugar
  • 2 T. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 C. flour
  • Cream butter and sugars. Add milk and vanilla; mix well. Beat in flour. Spread over cooled brownies; chill until firm.
  • Glaze:
  • 2 T. butter
  • 3/4 ¾ C. nuts (optional)
  • 1 C. semi-sweet chocolate chips
