- Options:
- 1 1 1 cup finely choped pecans
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 cup, mayonnaise
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 tsp hot sauce
- 1 1 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 8 2 8 2 8 oz blocks of sharp cheddar cheese, finely grated
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 cup strawberry preserves
- Assorted crackers
- Garnishes: toasted pecans, fresh strawberries
- 1/2 1 1/2 stir together 1/2 cup pepper jelly and 1 1/2 tsp chopped fresh mint
- 1/2 1 1/2-2 together 1/2 cup blackberry preserves adn 1 1/2-2 tsp chopped fresh basil
Potato-Leek Gratin

In 12" nontsick fry pan over medium heat, melt 4 Tbs
- 5 Tbs. unsalted butter
- 4 lb. leeks, white and light green portions, rinsed well, cut into 1/4" rings
- 1 1/2 Tbs. kosher salt
- 1 tsp. minced fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
- 3/4 tsp. greshly ground pepper
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 6 oz. Gruyere cheese, grated
- 3 oz. Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
- 3 lb. russet potatoes, peeled, cut into 1/4" slices
- 3 Tbs. minced fresh chives

- 1 1/3 cup sifted flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/3 cup butter
- 1/2 cup firm packed brown sugar
- 1 cup pecans, finely chopped
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup dark corn syrup
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 1/2 tsp. salt
