Barbecue Ribs (Oven/grill)

Preheat oven to 300 degrees f
- 4 lbs pork ribs
- 3/4 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon hickory smoke salt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper (optional)
- 2 cups of your favorite barbecue sauce (mine is Sweet Baby Ray)
Mexican Ice Cream Balls

Line a rimmed baking sheet with wax paper
- 1 quart vanilla ice cream
- 2 1/2 cups frosted corn flakes cereal, coarsely crushed
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
Honey Barbecued Ribs (Grilled)

Place ribs in a large kettle or Dutch oven; sprinkle with garlic salt and pepper
- 3 lbs. country -style ribs
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup spicy brown mustard
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire
- 11/2 teaspoons Liquid Smoke, optional

- 1 cup mayo
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 tablespoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

- 3 large tomatoes, chopped into bite-size chunks( or red pepper)
- 2 cups mayonnaise (lowfat or regular)
- 2 TBSP sugar (optional if using sour cream)
- 1/2 sour cream (optional)
- Topping:
- 3-4 sliced hard boiled eggs (if desired)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 3-5 slices crumbled cooked bacon

- 1 (8 oz.) jar tomato sauce (or Prego, etc.)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons wine vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
- 2 onions, sliced thinly
- 1 clove garlic, minced

- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter
- 1 bell pepper (or 1/2 red and 1/2 green), diced
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 lb. frozen hash brown potatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
