  • 4 cups pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • juice of one lime
  • 2 large handfulls cilantro leaves, chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Serrano or Japaleno pepper, thingly sliced and seeded, if desired
