Mix the cake at medium speed till well blended
- Cake:
- 2 Cups Herman
- 1 Cup Sugar
- 1-1/2 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1/2 Teaspoon Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup Raisins
- 2 Cups Flour
- 2/3 Cup Oil
- 1-1/2 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1 Cup Chopped Nuts
- TOPPING:
- 1/4 Cup Melted Butter
- 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
- 1 Tablespoon Flour
- 1 Cup Brown Sugar

- Streusel Topping:
- 1 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1 t. grated lemon peel

- 1/2 c. Miracle Whip Dressing Light
- 1/2 c. Milk
- 1 c. fresh berries (such as blueberries, raspberries or blackberries)
- 1/4 c. Chopped pecans
- 1/4 c. Firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 T. flour
- 1 T. I can’t believe it not butter light
- 1/2 t cinnamon

My family enjoys this Italian style protein-packed salad all year round, but especially during the hot Texas summer...
- 1 (15 oz.) can red beans, drained & rinsed
- 1 (15 oz.) can white beans (garbanzo or cannelini), drained and rinsed
- 1/2 lb. fresh cooked green beans, cut into 1 inch pieces
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 small or half of a large red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup shredded carrots
- 2 tablespoons (about 8 pieces) sundried tomatoes, hydrated and chopped
- 1/3 cup sliced almonds, toasted
- 1/3 cup chopped walnuts, toasted
- juice of 1 lemon (1-2 tablespoons)
- 3 T. Italian style salad dressing
- 2 T. chopped fresh parsley
- salt and pepper to taste

- 1/2 lb. cooked ground veal, crumbled
- 1 medium eggplant (3 cups)
- 1/2 c. chicken or beef bouillon
