Run a new play on the traditional game-time spread with this flavorful chicken dip
- 2 cans Chicken breast
- 1/2 cup hummus
- 1/2 tbsp.. Mrs. Dash original blend
- Pretzel crisps
- Fresh vegetables
Banana Chocolate Chip Cookies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 2 overripe bananas, mashed
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups rolled oats
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips (about half a 12-ounce bag)
Creamed Chicken Over Cornbread

Directions: Prepare corn bread batter and bake according to package directions, using a 9-in round pan
- 1 package (8-1/2 oz.) corn bread/muffin mix
- 1 T. chopped onion (I put a little more, I live in Onion country and they're free!)
- 1/4 c. butter, cubed
- 1 can (5 ounces) boned chicken, broken into chunks
- 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped broccoli
- 1 clove garlic, finely chopped
- 2 T. all-purpose flour
- 1-1/2 t. salt
- 2 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 1 c. (8 oz.) unflavored yogurt
- 3/4 c. milk
- Shredded cheddar cheese
Anita's Cheater Beans

In a large saucepan, fry the bacon over medium heat for 3 to 4 minutes
- 4 strips bacon, cut into 1/4-inch slices
- 1/4 medium onion, finely diced
- Two 27-ounce cans pinto beans
- 2 serrano peppers, scored
- 1 medium tomato, finely diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper
- 1/4 bunch fresh cilantro (don't use the stems and don't chop, just snip or pinch off the leaves)
Lemon Vinaigrette

In a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice, parsley, mustard, mayonnaise, pepper, and salt
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley leaves
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Hungarian Pancake

For the stew: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
- 4 cups cubed pork butt
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 5 mushrooms, sliced
- 2 carrots, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, chopped
- 1 Hungarian pepper, chopped
- 1 jalapeno pepper, chopped
- Salt and black pepper
- 1/4 cup ground onions
- 4 eggs
- 3 potatoes, peeled and ground, starch reserved
- Salt and pepper
- 1 cup flour, plus more for thickening gravy
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- Sour cream, for serving

- 1 Large onion (sliced)
- 4 Cloves garlic (minced
- )2 Red or yellow bell peppers (sliced)
- 2 Cans kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
- 4 Russet potatoes (peeled and cut in half lengthwise and then sliced into 8ths)
- 1 cup beef stock
- Dried basil (to taste)
- Salt and pepper (to taste)
