Apple Dumplings (Samuel Tite)

Directions Core and slice apples into 8 slices each
- 2 cans (8 count) crescent rolls
- 2 tart apples
- 2 sticks (1 C.) butter
- 1-1/2 C. sugar
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 C. flour
- 1 (12 oz.) can Sprite or 7-up
BLONDIE-BROWNIE PIE -Kathy Little

Coat a 9 inch glass pie dish with nonstick spray
- 1 ) 1 stick butter, cut up
- 2 ) 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 ) 2 large eggs
- 4 ) 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 5 ) 1 cup flour
- 6 ) 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 7 ) 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 8 ) 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
- 9 ) 13 fun size Snickers or other snack size candy bars
- 10 ) Garnish: cut up Snickers candy bars and chopped peanuts
GUACAMOLE DIP ( Kristin Tite )

Smash the avocados and combine with all ingredients
- 1 ) 2-3 avocados
- 2 ) 1 tomato, peeled and chopped
- 3 ) 2 green onions, sliced
- 4 ) pinch of cilantro, fresh
- 5 ) dash of Cumin
- 6 ) salt & pepper to taste
- 7 ) 1 teaspoon lime juice
Chunky Potato Soup (Cindy Pollard)

Peel potatoes and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 medium red potatoes
- 2 cups water
- 1 small onion
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Crushed red pepper flakes
- Ground black pepper
- 3 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup cubed cooked ham
Chicken Asparagus Pasta Recipe (Jim Watts)

Place asparagus in an ungreased 2-qt
- 2/3 cup cut fresh asparagus (1-inch pieces)
- 4 teaspoons canola oil, divided
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 4 ounces uncooked fettuccine
- 1/2 pound boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon grated lemon peel
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
TEXAS CAVIAR DIP ( Dylan Vandergriff)

Combine all ingredients except, Italian dressing, mix well
- 1 ) 2 (14 1/2 oz.) cans black-eyed peas, drained
- 2 ) 1 (15 1/2 oz.) can drained yellow corn
- 3 ) 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 4 ) 4 green onions, chopped
- 5 ) 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 6 ) 1 medium bell pepper, seeded and chopped
- 7 ) 1 Jalapeno pepper, seeded and chopped
- 8 ) 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 9 ) 1/2 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 10 ) 1 (8 oz.) bottle Italian salad dressing
GRACE'S COUGH MEDICINE ( Eddie Tite)

Bring the above to a boil, remove from heat
- 1 ) 1/2 cup whiskey
- 2 ) 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 3 ) 1/2 cup honey
- 4 ) 1/2 cup sugar
TACO SALAD ( Sherry Tite )

Brown beef well, drain thoroughly, and cool in refrigerator
- ) 1 1/2 pounds ground chuck, browned and drained Edit Delete
- 2 ) 1 small head lettuce, chopped or pkg. chopped lettuce Edit Delete
- 3 ) 1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in halves Edit Delete
- 4 ) 1 small can sliced black olives (optional) Edit Delete
- 5 ) 1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded cheddar cheese Edit Delete
- 6 ) 1 (13 oz.) small bag of Nacho Cheese Doritos, crushed Edit Delete
- 7 ) 1 bottle of Western dressing (fat free is good)
FAJITAS (Traci Tite Fallenstein)

In a blender, combine all the marinade ingredients
- 1 orange, juiced
- 2 limes, juiced
- 4 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 garlic cloves, roughly chopped
- 3 chipole chilies, in adobe sauce
- 3 tablespoons roughly chopped fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/4 pounds skirt or flank steak or boneless and skinless chicken breast, trimmed of fat cut into thirds or 8 inch pieces ( or both steak and chicken)
- salt and pepper
- 2 red peppers, thinly sliced
- 12 flour tortilas, warm
- Guacamole, recipe follows
- good quality store bought salsa
Rolo Chocolate Cookies (Skylar Bloch)

- 2 1/4 C. flour
- 3/4 C. unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 C. sugar
- 1 C. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 C. butter or margarine, softened
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 C. chopped pecans
- 48 Rolo Caramels, unwrapped
