Apple Cinnamon Snickerdoodles

Preheat the oven to 350°F
- Cookies:
- 3-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 Tbsp cornstarch
- 1-1/2 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and cut into 1/4'' cubes
- 1-1/2 sticks unsalted butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- Topping:
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon

- 1 pouch (1 lb 1.5 oz) Betty Crocker® double chocolate chunk cookie mix
- 1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 egg
- 2/3 cup pecans, coarsely chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 bag (14 oz) caramels, approximately 50 caramels
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/8 teaspoon coarse kosher salt, plus additional 1/2 teaspoon for top of bars
Summer Pasta Salad with Arugula, Bacon and Feta cheese

Cook farfalle pasta according to package directions
- 16-oz box farfalle (bow tie) pasta
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/4 cup green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 pint cherry tomatoes, halved
- 4-oz package crumbled feta cheese
- 1/2 – 3/4 lb. baby arugula
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 tsp. grated lemon rind
- 1 tsp. Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cooked or grilled chicken pieces, optional
