Perfect cake!
- 1 box cake mix
- 1 2 cake flour plus 2 Tbls
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup water
- 3 whole eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
Pumpkin Butter

So easy and so good!
- 1 29 oz can of Pumpkin puree
- 1 15 oz can of Pumpkin puree
- 1 cup plus 2 TBLS apple juice
- 1 TBL ground ginger
- 3/4 tsp ground cloves
- 2 1/4 cups white sugar
- 1 TBL ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
Low Country Boil

What a fun meal! In addition to the shrimp, I added crab legs, scallops and mussels
- 1/2 to 3/4 C Old Bay Seasoning
- 10 small new potatoes, about 1" in diameter, rinsed but not peeled
- 1 lb smoked sausage, cut into 1/2" coins
- 2 medium sweet onions quartered lengthwise
- 5 ears fresh corn, cut into thirds
- 20 large shrimp
- 1 lemon cut in half
- Optional: 1 clump of crab legs
- 12 scallops
- 12 mussles
- I use a turkey fryers for this recipe, much easier than on the stove.
Blueberry Cupcakes

Preheat the oven to 350°F
- 1 3/4 cups (222 grams) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 stick (113 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup (100 grams) granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup (50 grams) lightly packed brown sugar
- 2 large eggs plus one egg yolk, at room temperature
- 1 cup (240 ml) buttermilk
- 2 lemons, zested and juiced
- 3/4 cup (115 grams) fresh blueberries
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Step 1 Preheat the oven to 375°
- 4 sweet Italian pork or turkey sausages (12 ounces), casings removed One 24-ounce jar marinara sauce 1/2 cup water Two 14-ounce packages fresh cheese ravioli One 14-ounce package fresh spinach-and cheese ravioli.
- 12 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese (3 cups)
- 3 tablespoons freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 pounds mixed roasted or grilled vegetables, cut into 1-inch pieces
Mountain Berry Pie from the Ozarks

One of the best berry pies I've ever had!
- 1 1/2 C sugar
- 4 Tbls plus 1 1/2 tsp cornstarch
- 3/4 C cold water
- 3 Tbls lemon juice
- 3 C fresh blueberries
- 1 C fresh raspberries
- 1 C fresh blackberries
- Pastry for double pie crust
Pumpkin Pie Slab Style

FOR THE CRUST: Add to food processor, flour, baking powder, and salt
- FOR THE CRUST:
- 3 3/4 cups all purpose flour + more for rolling out crust
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/3 cups unsalted butter, cut into 1/2" chunks
- 10 tbl ice water
- 4 egg yolks, lightly beaten
- 2 tbl + 1 1/2 tsp white vinegar
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 2 15 oz cans of pumpkin
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 eggs
- 4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 16 oz crème fraiche
- 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or extract
