Breakfast Biscuit Sandwiches

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F and position racks in the upper and lower thirds
- 4 c all purpose flour plus more for dusting
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
- 1 1/2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, cubed and chilled plus more for spreading
- 1 1/2 c buttermilk
- 10 oz. sliced country ham, 10 oz. sliced cheddar cheese, and 10 oz. fried eggs, for serving
- Raspberry jam, for serving
Walnut Streusel Coffee Cake

In a small bowl, mix walnuts, brown sugar, butter and cinnamon
- Coffee cake:
- 1 c chopped walnuts
- 1/2 c packed brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter, melted
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 4 eggs, separated
- 1 c butter, softened
- 1 3/4 c sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 c all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 tsp confectioners' sugar
Penne with Vodka Sauce

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- Kosher salt
- 12 oz. whole wheat penne
- 1 28 oz. can whole plum tomatoes
- 1 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 shallots, minced
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 c vodka
- 2/3 c heavy cream
- 1/2 c freshly grated parmesan cheese, plus more for topping
- Handful of fresh basil leaves, torn, plus more for topping
Spring Thyme Chicken Stew

Place potatoes, onions and carrots in a slow cooker
- 1 lb small red potatoes, halved
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3/4 c shredded carrots
- 3 tbsp all purpose flour
- 6 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 1/2 lb boneless skinless chicken thighs, halved
- 2 c chicken broth
- 2 bay leaves
- 2 tbsp minced fresh parsley
Ravioli with Sage-Walnut Butter

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- 1/4 c balsamic vinegar
- 2 tsp honey
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 9 oz. packages refrigerated cheese ravioli
- 6 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/3 c sage leaves
- 1 c walnuts, roughly chopped
- 3/4 c grated parmesan cheese
Spinach and Artichoke Salad with Couscous Cakes and Feta

Make the dressing: In a small bowl, combine the lemon juice, sour cream and mint
- Dressing:
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tsp finely chopped fresh mint
- 5 tbsp EVOO
- Salt and pepper
- Couscous Cakes:
- 3/4 c couscous
- Salt
- 1 large clove garlic, peeled
- 1/4 c packed fresh parsley leaves
- 1/2 c canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- Salad:
- 8 oz spinach
- 1 14 oz can artichokes rinsed and sliced
- 15 cherry tomatoes, halved
- Salt and pepper
- 1 oz crumbled feta cheese
Greek Lamb Chops and Mint Yogurt Sauce

Combine the first three ingredients in a small bowl
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp chopped fresh oregano
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 8 4 oz. lamb loin chops, trimmed
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tsp canola oil
- 1/2 c plain fat free yogurt
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh mint
- 1/2 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 tsp kosher salt
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Brownies

Melt chocolate and butter in a double boiler, set aside
- 1 lb. unsweetened chocolate
- 1 lb. 8 oz. butter
- 1 lb. 8 oz. eggs
- 3 lb. sugar
- .25 oz. salt
- 1 oz. vanilla
- 1 lb. bread flour
- 1 lb. chopped walnuts
Vinaigrette for Pasta Salad

- 2 tbsp white wine vinegar
- 1 shallot, minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- Pepper to taste
