- 1 lb flank steak, or skirt steak
- ½ cup soy sauce
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce, optional
- 1 bell pepper, cut into matchsticks
- 1 carrot, cut into matchsticks
- ½ zucchini, cut into matchsticks
- 16 stalks asparagus, halved
- 1 red onion, sliced
- sesame seed, for serving, to taste
- toothpick, to skewer
Cauliflower and Broccoli au Gratin

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- 1 large or 2 small heads broccoli, about 1 1/2 pounds
- 1 small head cauliflower, leaves removed, about 1 1/2 pounds
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 2 1/2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly grated nutmeg
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt to taste if desired
- Freshly ground pepper to taste
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 cups grated white cheese such as Vermont Cheddar, Gruyere or Swiss

Place rack in the upper third of the oven; preheat broiler
- 3 asparagus spears, or 12 snow peas, trimmed and thinly sliced (about 1/3 cup)
- 8 ounces crabmeat, any shells or cartilage removed
- 1/3 cup finely chopped celery
- 1/4 cup finely chopped red bell pepper
- 1 scallion, finely chopped
- 4 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon low-fat mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 2-5 dashes hot sauce
- Freshly ground pepper, to taste
- 4 whole-wheat English muffins, split and toasted
- 1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese

- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup fresh parsley leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup green onions, chopped
