- 450 grams all-purpose flour, plus more for dusting
- 1.5 tsp kosher salt
- 1/5 TBS baking powder
- 50 grams granulated sugar
- 100 grams unsalted butter, softened and cut into pieces
- 2 large eggs
- About 225 ml whole milk
- Coarse sugar for sprinkling
- Clotted cream, for serving

- 5 large Yukon Gold potatoes (~ 2.5 lbs), peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 8 TBS butter, melted
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (16 oz) package lasagna noodles, cooked al dente
- 2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese (~ 8 oz)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Sour cream and chopped chives for garnish
