Refreshing Lime Sherbet

Southern Living MAY 2005
- 4 teaspoons finely grated lime rind (about 1 large lime)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 cups half-and-half
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice (about 4 limes)
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- Garnishes: fresh mint sprigs, thinly sliced lime wedges, lime rind strips
Sweet Sour Cabbage

Cook cabbage in boiling salt water for 7 minutes
- 5 c shredded cabbage
- 4 slices diced bacon
- 2 Tblsp brown sugar
- 2 Tblsp flour
- 1/2 c water
- 1/2 c vinegar
- salt and pepper
- 1 small onion, chopped
Baked Beans

- 1 can pork and beans
- brown sugar
- syrup (a little)
- catsup
- BBQ sauce
- 1 Tblsp mustard
- onion flakes
- Sliced bacon, chopped into 4 pieces for each strip.
Creamy Chicken Casserole

What To Do: Preheat oven to 350 degree F
- 2 cups chunked cooked chicken
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed chicken and rice soup
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (5-ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 (5-ounce) package chow mein noodles
Broccoli Chicken Grilled Sandwiches

Low-Carb Strawberry Shortcake
