pasta - easy stovetop macaroni and cheese

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil
- 1 pound uncooked pasta shells
- 4 cups whole milk
- 8 Tablespoons (1 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon dry mustard (optional)
- 3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
cookie - Cantucci Baresi - Almond Biscotti

Pre-heat the oven at 350F
- 1 Lb Lightly toasted almonds
- 1 Lb Flour
- 1/2 Lb Sugar
- 4 + 1 Eggs
- Zest of two lemons
- 2 Tsp Vanilla
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder

- 1/2 cup almonds
- 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

1. In a small bowl, combine yeast and warm water
- 1 Tbsp active dry yeast
- 3 Tbsp warm water
- 2 1/2 c whole wheat flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 c buttermilk, room temperature
- 1 large egg
- 6 Tbsp unsalted butter, room temperature, plus more for brushing rolls
- 2 Tbsp honey
- olive oil, for baking sheet
- cornmeal, for baking sheet
- fleur de sel, optional, for sprinkling rolls

Combine honey and cream in a sauce pan and bring to a boil
- 1 cup Honey
- 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 2 Tablespoons Butter
bites - Peanut Butter Cookie Dough

Throw everything into your food processor (I used an Osterizer) and combine until very smooth
- 1/4 cup peanut butter
- 1/4 cup plus 3 tbsp raisins
- salt to taste (I used a little over 1/4 tsp, but I like salty pb cookies!)
- 2 tbsp roasted, unsalted peanuts (If you can only find salted, reduce or omit added salt)
- 1/8 tsp pure vanilla extract

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and spray a baking sheet with cooking spray
- 1 tbsp ground flax seeds
- 3 tbsp cold water
- 1/2 cup dried shredded coconut*
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup almond butter
- 4 tbsp coconut milk or other non-dairy milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup roasted macadamia nuts

- 1 1/4 cups blanched slivered almonds
- 1/2 cup sugar , divided
- 4 large eggs , separated
- 5 teaspoons packed orange or lemon zest, finely minced (or 2 teaspoons almond extract)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/16 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Powdered sugar for sprinkling (optional)
