- 1 medium yellow onion, finely chopped

- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (or 1 teaspoon fresh thyme)
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano (or 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup milk (whole or 2%)
- 1 cup white or red wine
- 2 (28-ounce) cans of whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 bay leaf
Donut - Maple Sea Salt Doughnuts

Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease your doughnut pan
- For the doughnuts:
- 1/2 cup gluten-free oat flour
- 1/2 cup sweet rice flour
- 3 tablespoons almond meal
- 2 tablespoons pure cane sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 3 1/2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted + slightly cooled
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- large flaked sea salt, topping
- For the glaze:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1 to 3 teaspoons unsweetened almond milk

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and line 10 muffin cups with liners
- 1/2 cup coconut flour
- 4 eggs, at room temperature
- 1/4 cup softened butter, real lard or coconut oil
- 6 Tbs. pumpkin purée (or squash or carrot purée)
- 2 Tbs. raw honey or pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp. cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 tsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
