- 3/4 cup hot cocoa mix (without marshmallows)
- 2 Tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (up to 1 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup butter, melted and cooled
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
- mini marshmallows (optional)

Crispy Orange Beef: America's Test Kitchen

Traditionally, this dish is made by frying multiple batches of lightly battered beef in about 8 cups of oil
