Bars: Gina's Toffee Blondies

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F
- Nonstick cooking spray
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon whole milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup chopped chocolate covered toffee

Dissolve yeast in water. Add dry milk, shortening, honey, salt, eggs and 2 cups of the flour
- Dough:
- 1 cup water
- 2 pkgs active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup nonfat dry milk
- 1/4 cup shortening
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 3-1/2 to 4 cups all-purpose flour
- Filling:
- 1-1/2 cups peeled chopped apples
- 1 cup bread crumbs (or white cookie or cake crumbs)
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 1/4 cup honey
