- Cake:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- 3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup hot coffee
- 1 cup milk

- 1 cup milk
- 5 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter , softened
- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Devonshire (Clotted) or Devon Cream

Devonshire (or Devon) Cream is a clotted cream produced commercially in Devon Cornwall and Somerset England
- 4 ounces mascarpone
- 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
