Raspberry-Lemon Easter Cake

For Sugar Cookies: Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl
- Cake:
- 3 cups cake flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 1/4 cups sour cream
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice (about 1 1/2 lemons)
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into small pieces
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon finely grated lemon zest
- 5 large eggs, room temperature
- Icing and Filling:
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 5 large egg whites
- 1 1/2 teaspoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- Pinch fine salt
- 1 1/2 cups (3 sticks) unsalted butter, room temperature, cut into small pieces
- 1/2 cup seedless red raspberry jam
- Candied almonds
- Pastel sanding sugars
- Sugar Cookies:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fine salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla paste or vanilla extract
Red Lobster Cheddar Biscuits

Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 425 degrees
- For the garlic butter:

- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup pecan halves, divided
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
- 3 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14-ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- 4 eggs
- 1 (6-ounce) package white chocolate baking squares, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
- 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
- Whipped cream or topping
- *I use fresh strawberries instead of cherry pie filling*

- For the Frosting
- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons Dutch-process cocoa powder
- 2 sticks unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
- Coarse salt
- 1 pound semisweet chocolate, chopped, melted, and cooled
- Garnish: flaked sea salt, such as Maldon
