- 1 pkg. active dry yeast
- 1/2 c lukewarm milk (105 to 110 degrees F)
- 1/4 c lukewarm water (105 to 110 degrees F)

- 1/4 c sugar
- 2 c flour, about
- 1/2 t salt
- 2/3 c butter, soft
- Dark Rum Syrup:
- 1 c water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 c sugar
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- 2 slices lemon
- 1-3 cloves
- 2 slices orange
- 1/2 c dark rum, or more
- Apricot Glaze:
- 1 c apricot jam
- 2 to 4 T Grand Marnier or kirsch
Olive Garden Pasta Florentine

1. HEAT extra virgin olive oil and garlic in a sauté pan over medium-low heat

- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 24 oz sliced mushrooms
- 3 cups frozen peas
- 6 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 8 oz ham (Black Forest if possible), julienned
- 1/2 cup chopped parsley
- 16 oz pasta (your favorite shape), cooked according to package directions
- Grated Parmesan cheese for garnish
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped

- 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
- 4 teaspoons (about 6 cloves) chopped garlic
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 2 red peppers, seeded, small diced
- 1/2 cup chopped basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons chopped parsley leaves
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cups grated Parmesan
- 1 1/2 cups breadcrumbs
- 3 pounds ground beef
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup marinara sauce

Sift together dry ingredients and mix in remaining ingredients
- NUT MIXTURE –for four large rolls
- 1 1/4 lbs. nuts ground fine
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 T. butter or margarine
- 1 T. flour
- 1 cup milk
- 2 eggs slightly beaten
- Mix all ingredients into a large pot and cook slowly for 15 minutes. Stir constantly to avoid burning. Set aside to cool.
- DOUGH MIXTURE – for four long rolls
- 6 cups flour
- 1 T. salt
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 eggs (beaten)
