Chocolate Hazelnut Cake

1. Preheat oven to 160°C
- 200 g dark chocolate, chopped
- 200 g butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 eggs, at room temperature
- 1 3/4 cups self-raising flour (add 1 3/4 tsp baking powder + 1/4+1/8 tsp salt)
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup choc-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella)
- 80 small solid chocolate Easter eggs
- note; For each cup of all-purpose flour, add 1 teaspoons of baking powder and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

Classic Southern Pecan Pie

- For the pie dough:
- 7-1/2 oz. (1-2/3 cups) unbleached all-purpose flour; more for rolling

- 150 gr. lard
- 200 gr. sugar

- 1 1/4 cup warm milk (enough to make soft dough)

- 1 1/2 cups almonds, toasted and ground (not too fine)
