- 2/3 cup fat-free skim milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 slices day-old whole wheat bread
- 1 teaspoon canola oil
- 8 teaspoons unpacked brown sugar, divided
- 4 canned pineapple slices in juice, drained
Blue Cheese Gougeres

Bill Nicholson's Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding with Butter Rum Sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Butter Rum Sauce:
- •2 dozen Krispy Kreme donuts
- •1 (14-ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
- •2 (4.5-ounce) cans fruit cocktail (undrained)
- •2 eggs, beaten
- •1 (9-ounce) box raisins
- •1 pinch salt
- •1 or 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- •Butter Rum Sauce, recipe follows
- 1 stick butter
- 1 pound box confectioners' sugar
- Rum, to taste
- Melt butter and slowly stir in confectioners' sugar. Add rum and heat until bubbly. Pour over each serving of Krispy Kreme Bread Pudding
Mini Apple Turnovers

In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until smooth
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 egg, separated
- 3 tablespoons cold water, divided
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1-1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- Additional sugar, optional
- Vanilla ice cream, optional
Pizzeria Uno’s Pizza

1. Generously brush a heavy 10 x 2-inch round cake pan or 10-inch spring form pan with olive oil or cooking oil
- Olive oil or cooking spray
- 1 package active dry yeast (I use Viva Pizza Yeast from Williams-Sonoma)
- 1 C. warm water, (110 to 115 degrees)
- 3 to 3 1/2 C. all purpose flour
- 1/3 C. olive oil or cooking spray (I use only Bertolli Extra Light Olive Oil)
- 12 ounces mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 1/2 pound Italian sausage, mild-cooked, drained and crumbled
- 1 15-ounce can tomatoes – whole pear or plum, drained (I use 2 15-ounce cans
- of tomatoes)
- 1 tsp. dried oregano, crushed
- 1 tsp. dried basil, crushed
- 1/4 C. Parmesan cheese, grated
- fresh mushrooms, sliced or chopped green pepper (optional)
Orange Filling

- 2 tbs flour
- 2 c milk
- 1/2 t vanilla
- juice of 1 lemon
- Topping:
- 1 pk. vanilla pudding
- 1 can crushed pineapple
- 11/2 c juice from pineapple
