Baked Cinnamon-Maple French Toast

Put the bread slices in a 9x13 baking dish
- 1 loaf 2-day old French bread, cut into 1-inch thick slices
- 12 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
- 1 quart heavy cream
- 1 1/2 tablespoons vanilla extract
- cinnamon for garnish
- butter at room temperature, for serving
- warmed maple syrup for serving
Chocolate Cinnamon Rolls

To make the filling: Combine all of the dry ingredients in a small bowl
- FOR THE FILLING:
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 3 tablespoons mini semi-sweet chocolate chips (or finely chopped regular chips)
- FOR THE DOUGH:
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 1/4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups buttermilk (or 5 tablespoons cultured buttermilk powder, plus 1 1/4 cups water)
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- FOR THE ICING:
- 2 tablespoons cream cheese or unsalted butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons buttermilk (1 1/2 teaspoons powder, plus 2 tablespoons water)
- 1 cup confectioners’ sugar

- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup Sixlets
Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

Directions In a large pot over medium heat, combine broth, water and chicken
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 2 cooked, boneless chicken breast halves, shredded
- 1 (4.5 ounce) package quick cooking long grain and wild rice with seasoning packet
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups heavy cream
Wolf-Dog Biscuits

Combine first 4 ingredients; mix well
- 2 cups whole wheat flour
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 beef bouillon cubes
- 2 cups boiling water
- 10 tablespoons bacon bits
- Variations: use clear gravies from turkey, roast beef, etc. In place of bouillon cubes or clear soups. Crisp sausage bits could be used in place of bacon.

- Dough:
- 2 cups unbleached flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 2- 4 tbsp water
- Potato and Cheddar Cheese Filling:
- 2 cups mashed potatoes, cooled
- 3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Fried Onions for Serving:
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 medium yellow onions, thinly sliced
Turkey Meatballs

Preheat oven to 425. Spray a glass casserole dish with cooking spray, and set aside
- 1 1/2 pounds (about) of ground turkey
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon parsley
- 1 small onion, chopped (smaller pieces are better)
- 1 big clove of garlic
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- 1 beef bullion cube, crushed
- 3/4 cup Breadcrumbs (about 3/4 cup, but please, approximate! see below)
