White Chocolate Crisps

- 1 cup golden flavour Crisco shortening
- 3/4 cup lightly packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp. milk
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups Robin Hood wheat and oat flour or all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 6 squares Baker's white chocolate, coarsely chopped

- 1/3 cup olive oil
- 1 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cup tomato paste
- 3 cups vegetable stock
- 1 tsp. thyme
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp. chopped fresh basil
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups milk
- salt and pepper to taste
Caesar Salad Dressing

Mix ingredients together. Pour over salad and toss to mix
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1/2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 tsp. pepper

- 2 tbsp. mayo

- 1 cup (250 ml) chopped white mushrooms
- 2 roasted red peppers, diced
- 4 cups (1L) of cooked basmati rice
- Sauce
- 1 Tbsp. (15 ml) vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp.(15 ml) minced ginger
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 - 28 oz. (798 ml) can crushed tomatoes
- 2 cups (500 ml) tomato juice
- 1 tsp. (5 ml) turmeric
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup (250ml) finely chopped cilantro (optional)
