Caramel Layer Squares

Marilyn's recipe… serve w/ ice cream!
- 1 14oz pkg light caramels (about 50)
- 1/3 C evaporated milk
- 1 pkg Pillsbury German Chocolate Cake Mix
- 3/4 C butter, melted
- 1/3 C evaporated milk
- 1 C chopped nuts
- 1 6oz pkg Choc Chips
Pumpkin Spice Cake

1. Heat oven to 350° F. Butter and flour a 12-cup Bundt pan
- 1 * 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temperature, plus more for the pan
- 3 * 3 cups all-purpose flour, spooned and leveled, plus more for the pan
- 5 * 5 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 * 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 * 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 * 3 large eggs
- 1 * 1 15-ounce can pumpkin puree (1 1⁄2 cups)
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 1/4 * 1 1/4 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 2 * 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Spice Cake

Using beater, mix together ingredients and then add: 3 med eggs Beat until smooth
- Sift:
- 2 C. flour
- 1/2 C. white sugar
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 1 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 tsp ground cloves
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp nutmeg
- Add:
- 3/4 C. brown sugar
- 3/4 C. vegetable oil
- 1 C. sour milk

Cauliflower penne puttanesca

1.Cook the pasta according to the package directions
- 3/4 pound penne or some other short pasta
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 small head cauliflower (about 11/2 pounds), cored and cut into small florets
- kosher salt and black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 28-ounce can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1/2 cup pitted kalamata olives, chopped
- 2 tablespoons capers, rinsed
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- grated Parmesan, for serving

- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cup flour
- 1 tsp soda

- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 tsp cinnamon

- 1/8 t cayenne
- 1/4 t lime zest
- 1/4 t grated ginger
