Cream 3/4 cup butter with white and brown sugars

Cheese Appetizer Rounds

Stir baking mix, pepper, and cheese spread in a medium bowl until blended
- 1/2 cup all purpose baking mix
- 1/8 to 1/4 tsp. ground red pepper (cayenne)
- 1 jar (5 oz) sharp processed cheese spread
- 2 Tbsp. toasted sesame seeds or dried parsley flakes

- 1 lb. fresh brown mushrooms, sliced
- 1 lb. fresh shiitake mushrooms, stemmed & sliced
- 1 cup thinly sliced shallots
- 2 large carrots, sliced
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme, crushed
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
- 2 (14 oz each) cans chicken broth
- 2 (14 oz each) cans artichoke hearts, drained & quartered
- 1/4 cup oil-packed dried tomatoes, drained & chopped
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cup half-and-half or light cream
- Green onions cut in thin strips

Heat oven to 400 degrees. Prepare rice according to package directions, substituting broth for water; set aside
- 1 1/2 cups long grain rice
- 2 1/2 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 3 small zucchini, sliced
- 2 Tbs. olive oil, divided
- 1 red pepper, seeded & chopped
- 1 red onion, peeled & chopped
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 2 tsp. chopped garlic
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh rosemary
- 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained & chopped
- 1 pkg (1.2 oz) onion gravy mix
- 1/2 cup low fat sour cream
- 4 oz. goat cheese, crumbled
- 1/2 cup pitted kalamata olives

In a large pot over medium heat, cook onion in hot oil for 5 minutes
- 2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 tsp. cumin

1. To make clarified butter, melt butter in a small heavy saucepan over medium heat 2-3 minutes until foamy & brown

- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- Filling: 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup corn syrup
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups (11.5 oz pkg) Nestle Toll House semi-sweet chocolate chunks
