Preheat an oven to 350 degrees
- For the crust:
- 1 package (1 lb 2 oz) spiced pecan pumpkin quick bread mix
- 1 egg
- 8 T (1 stick), unsalted butter, melted
- For the filling:
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 jar Muirhead pecan pumpkin butter
- 3 eggs
- 1 t vanilla extract
- 8 T unsalted butter, melted
- !/2 t ground cinnamon
- 15 oz confectioners sugar

- 2 sticks butter

Combine milk, rice, sugar, butter, salt, vanilla and nutmeg Thicken with 6-8 T cooked rice and 1/2 cup raisins
- 4 cups milk
- 2 T raw white rice with 1/4 t salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup raisins
- 1 t vanilla
- 1/4 nutmeg

Louisiana Purchase sent dark roux in the mail and faxed the recipe Feb
- 1 1/2 gallons chicken stock
- 3/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 4 bay leaves
- 2 T oregano
- 2 T basil
- 1/2 cup poultry spice
- 1 1/2 cup dark roux
- Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil, then thicken with 1 1/2 cup blond roux.
- Simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add
- 2 lbs andouille sausage
- 2 lbs cooked chicken
- 2 cups diced tomatoes
- 2 cups cooked okra

- 1 T cake flour
- 12 ozs sifted cake flour, about 3 cups
- 2 t baking powder
- 1/4 t salt
- 1 3/4 cups sugar, divided
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup warm coconut water, from 1 small brown coconut
- 1 t vanilla
- 2 cups shaved fresh coconut, toasted

- 8 cups cold water
- 1 clove garlic
- CRUSHED
- 1 ham hock
- 2 T parsley
- 2 cups chopped onions
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 t salt/fresh pepper
- 1/2 cup dry sherry - optional
