FRENCH CREPES

Sift together flour, sugar and salt; set aside
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon white sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt

Loaded Nachos

Loaded with both refried and black beans, you definitely won't be missing the meat in these cheesy, vegetarian nach
- 4-5 cups tortilla chips
- 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- 1 avocado, halved, seeded, peeled and diced
- 1 Roma tomato, diced
- 1/2 cup canned black beans
- 1/2 cup refried beans
- 1/3 cup corn kernels
- 1/4 cup green chilis
- Pickled jalapeños, for serving
Crockpot BBQ Chicken Wings

Brown the Crockpot BBQ Chicken Wings Preheat the oven to broil
- 3 lbs. chicken wings (try to get them with the wing tips cut off already and separated into the drum and flat -- otherwise you'll have to trim them yourself)
- salt and pepper
- 1-1/2 cups barbecue sauce (any kind you like)
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tsp. mustard (I'm using a spicy mustard, but you can use whatever you like)
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- a few dashes of Tabasco, to taste (that's optional)
CHICKEN TOASTS

1. Lightly toast bread 2
- 4 slices of bread (multigrain or French)
- 1/4 CUP (50 ml) Ricotta cheese
- 1/4 cup (50 ml) diced bottled roasted red peppers
- black pepper to taste
- 1 cup (250 ml) cooked ground chicken
- salt to taste
- 8 thin slices Old Cheddar or Gruyere cheese
- 2 tbs (30 ml) olive oil
HOLIDAY CRANBERRY CHUTNEY

1. In a saucepan, combine all ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring constantly
- 1 (12 ounce) bag fresh or frozen cranberries
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1 large cooking apple, chopped
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
Chocolate Pumpkin Gingerbread Tarts (paleo)

A grain free, paleo, nut free, Fall holiday treat with low carb options
- Pie Filling:
- Gingerbread Pie Crust
- 1 egg, beaten.
- 1/3 cup butter, melted or coconut oil, melted, where to buy coconut oil
- 2 tsp organic molasses.
- 1 tsp ground ginger.
- Sweetener of choice: 2 tsp honey for paleo, or can use 20 drops liquid stevia for low carb option.
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon.
- 1/2 cup coconut flour. where to buy coconut flour
- 1 can pumpkin puree (be sure pumpkin is the only ingredient).
- 1 1/2 tbsp. cocoa powder.
- 2 tbsp coconut oil or butter, melted.
- 1/4 cup melted organic paleo friendly dark chocolate chips, melted, or for low carb use 1 ounces (1 squares) organic unsweetened bakers’ chocolate, melted.
- Sweetener of choice: 1/3 cup organic pure maple syrup, or for low carb version use 1/3 low carb maple syrup (I used Nature's Hollow low carb syrup) + 20 drops liquid stevia.
CHOCOLATE RASPBERRY SQUARE

In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar
- 1 3/4 cups All Purpose Flour 425 mL
- 1 cup granulated sugar 250 mL
- 1 cup butter 250 mL or margarine
- 1 egg , beaten 1
- 1/2 tsp almond extract 2 mL
- 1 cup Pure Raspberry Jam 250 mL
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips 125 mL
No-Fuss Mexican Layered Dip

BEAT cream cheese spread with mixer until creamy
- 1 pkg. (250 g) Philadelphia Light Brick Cream Cheese Spread, softened
- 1 Tbsp. taco seasoning mix
- 1 cup salsa
- 1 cup rinsed canned black beans
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup Kraft Double Cheddar Light Shredded Cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 2 Tbsp. sliced black olives
