Beef Barley Soup

Heat oil in soup pot on medium heat Add carrot, onion & celery
- Splash pf olive oil
- 1 large carrot (chopped)
- 1 large celery stalk (chopped)
- 1 medium onion (chopped)
- salt & pepper to taste
- 2-3 cup cooked beef or ground beef
- splash of worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp basil leaves
- 1 tsp oregano leaves
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or fresh crushed garlic to taste)
- 8 cups beef broth
- 1 large can of diced tomatoes including liquid
- 3/4 cup pearl barley

You can cut the recipe in half
- 2 cups butter
- 4 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 cups sugar
- 5 cups blended oatmeal(blend in blender to a fine powder)
- 24 oz chocolate chips
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 8 oz Hershey bar (grated)
- 4 eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups chopped nuts (bakers choice)

Brown hamburger and mix all together and put in crock pot for 8 hours on low or 4 hours on high
- 2 cans brown beans
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 lbs hamburger
- 1 green pepper
- 10 mushrooms
- 3 stalks celery
- 1/2 tsp cumin

- 2 tsp chili powder
