Cheesecake Brownies

"Brownies are my grandson, Noah's, favorite, so we always make some when he comes to visit
- 1 package fudge brownie mix (13-inch x 9-inch pan size)
- 2 packages (3 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
- 6 tablespoons butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 can (16 ounces) chocolate frosting
Easy Apple Dumplins

Preheat oven to 350F degrees Peel and core apples
- 1 Green Apple (Granny Smith, Golden Delicious)
- 1 tube (8 oz.) Crescent Rolls
- 1 stick unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Ground Cinnamon (to taste)
- 1/2 cup lemon lime soda (Sprite or Mountain Dew work good)
Fried Apples

-In a large skillet, melt bacon drippings
- 1/4 cup bacon drippings OR real butter
- 6 tart apples - cored, sliced
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1 dash ground nutmeg
Chocolate Chip Scones

Preheat the oven to 375˚ F
- 1 1/2 cups plus 2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tsp. baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup (6 oz.) chocolate chips (I prefer dark chocolate chips)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tbsp. butter, melted
- Additional sugar for sprinkling (optional)

- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 4 cups shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
- 1 1/2 cups milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper

- 1 to 2 tablespoons Hungarian or regular paprika
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 2/3 cup chicken broth
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- Parsley-buttered egg noodles
