- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 cup milk
Caramel Cookies

- 2 cups white sugar
- 3/4 cup margarine
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 4 oz. package of instant butterscotch or caramel pudding
- 3 1/2 cups rolled oats

- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 egg whites
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Apple Pudding - 1

- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 6 baking apples, thickly sliced
- 2/3 cup flour
- 1/4 tsp. baking powder
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup sugar
- 1 slightly beaten egg
- 3 tbsp. melted butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Cinnamon Quick Bread

In a large bowl, combine all bread ingredients
- Streusel:
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar

- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup slivered almonds
- 1 10-oz. jar (3/4 cup) maraschino cherries, drained and chopped

- 1/2 cup shortening
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 cup flour (unsifted) + 2 tbsp.
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Maid of Honour Tarts

- 12 unbaked tart shells
- 4 tbsp. butter
