Bring 4 cups water to a boil in a medium saucepan
- 4 cups water
- 3/4 pound wax beans, trimmed
- 3/4 pound green beans, trimmed
- 2 cups chopped tomato
- 1 tablespoon sherry vinegar
- 2 teaspoons extravirgin olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced fresh basil
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) crumbled feta cheese
Grilled Salmon with Black Bean Salsa

In a small bowl, combine the wine, soy sauce and brown sugar
- SALSA:
- 1/4 cup white wine or reduced-sodium chicken broth
- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 1-1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 6 salmon fillets (4 ounces each)
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup frozen corn, thawed
- 1 medium sweet red pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup seedless red grapes, chopped
- 1/4 cup fat-free Italian salad dressing
- 1 tablespoon canned chopped green chilies

In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients
- 1 can (15 ounces) vegetarian chili with beans
- 1 carton (15 ounces) reduced-fat ricotta cheese
- 1 cup (4 ounces) shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend
- 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green chilies
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 8 lasagna noodles, cooked and drained
- 1 jar (16 ounces) salsa

In a small bowl, combine the sugars, flour and spices; set aside
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 6 to 7 cups thinly sliced peeled tart apples
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Pastry for double-crust pie (9 inches)

- 2 1/2 cups hot cooked farfalle (about 2 cups uncooked bow tie pasta)
- 1 cup cubed roasted skinless, boneless chicken breast (about 1 breast)
- 1/2 cup fat-free Caesar dressing
- 1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated fresh Parmesan cheese
- 1 (10-ounce) package frozen leaf spinach, thawed, drained, and squeezed dry

- 8 C. thinly sliced green cabbage
- 1 1/2 C. frozen whole-kernel corn, thawed
- 1 C. shredded carrots
- 1 C. chopped red onions
- 1 C. chopped red bell pepper
- 1/2 C. sugar
- 1/2 C. white vinegar
- 2 T. water
- 1 T. vegetable oil
- 1 t. celery seeds
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. chicken-flavored bouillion granuals
- 1/4 t. white pepper
- 1/4 t. mustard seeds
- dash of hot sauce

- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup nonfat buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons margarine melted

- 1 cup finely chopped peeled Rome apple
- ⅓ cup chopped pecans toasted
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- ¾ teaspoon ground cinnamon
