In small bowl, combine all ingredients
- 1 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt, coarse
- 1 bay leaf, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon dried sage, rubbed
- 1/2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon allspice
- 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon

Measure ingredients into bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 teaspoon yeast
- 3 cups bread flour
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons butter or margarine
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup pecans, optional
- Filling:
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
Oven Fried Chicken

1. In a small bowl combine egg and milk
- 1 egg, beaten
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1-1/4 cups crushed cornflakes or finely crushed rich round crackers (about 35), or dry bread crumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
- 2-1/2 to 3 pounds meaty chicken pieces (breast halves, thighs, and drumsticks)
Lime Marinated Broiled Salmon

Place first 4 ingredients in a blender; process until smooth
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 1 teaspoon minced peeled fresh ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- 4 (6-ounce) skinless salmon fillets (about 1 inch thick)
- Cooking spray
- 4 lime wedges

Beat all ingredients at high speed for 7 to 10 minutes or until icing forms stiff peaks

1. In a crock pot, combine the chicken broth and tomato paste
- 3 cups water
- 1 tablespoon Chicken Base, (Tones)
- 9 oz. tomato paste, (1 1/2 sm cans)
- 1 1/2 lb. boneless skinless chicken breast halves, cut into 1" cubes
- 3 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 1/2 small onion, chopped
- 1 1/2 celery stalk, sliced
- 3 medium carrots, sliced
- 3/4 teaspoon paprika
- 3/8 teaspoon pepper
- 3/8 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 tablespoons water
- 5 teaspoons cornstarch
Easy-Does-It Spaghetti

Brown ground beef in skillet and place in Crock-pot
- 1 lb. extra lean ground beef
- 2 tablespoons minced onion, dry
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 16 ounces tomato sauce, canned
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 4 ounces canned mushrooms, drained
- 3 cups tomato juice
- 4 ounces spaghetti, dry -- broken in pieces
Crusty Cuban Bread

Put all into bread pan of bread maker & start on dough cycle
- 1 1/4 cups water
- 1 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 3 1/2 cups bread flour, (can in some cases add 1/4 c more flour but try not to. The dough is suppose to be softer than other bread doughs)
- 2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
My Favorite Tuna Noodle Casserole

Cook 6 oz (3 cups) medium noodles using package directions: drain
- 6 oz. medium egg noodles, (about 3 cups dry noodles)
- 1 or 2 cans tuna in water, drained
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise, Can use Light Mayonnaise
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped canned pimiento, drained, optional
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 10 1/2 oz. condensed cream of celery soup, can use a healthy or low fat version
- 4 oz. sharp process American cheese, about 1 cup or 6 of the slices
- 1/2 cup milk
Oven "Fried" Fish Recipe

- 4 (6 ounce) tilapia fillets
- 1 egg white
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dried breadcrumbs
- 2 teaspoons paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
