Set a Dutch oven over medium heat and add the olive oil
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- six-eight slices bacon diced
- 1 cup thinly sliced onion
- 2 tablespoons sliced garlic
- 2 pounds of green beans
- 1 cup chicken stock
- (1 cup water or more, optional, my addition)
- 1 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper

- Butter Dough:

- 1 1/2 sticks butter
- 10 1/2 ounces fine-quality bittersweet chocolate

- 3/4 cup flour
