Figgy-Orange Cocktail

Forget the pudding! This figgy cocktail is a seasonal drink that will surely get you into the holiday spirit
- Ice, as needed
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1/2 ounce Punt e Mes
- 1 tablespoon fresh orange juice
- 1/2 tablespoon simple syrup (see Note)
- 4 dashes Figgy-Orange Bitters or Regans' Orange Bitters No. 6
- Nutmeg, grated
Spicy Lemon Garlic Shrimp

Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- 2 pounds Raw Shrimp, Deveined, Shells On
- 2 sticks Cold Unsalted Butter Cut Into Pieces
- 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 4 cloves Garlic, Peeled
- ¼ cups Fresh Parsley
- ½ teaspoons Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 whole Lemon, Juiced
Pasta with Sun-dried Tomatoes & Olives

Directions In a skillet over medium/low heat, cook garlic, onion, and salt + pepper
- Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 cup onion, chopped
- 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, if packed in oil - drain & chopped
- 1/4 cup low sodium chicken broth
- 1/8 cup Kalamata, sliced & pitted
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 4 ounces pasta shells - I used these corn & vegetable shells
- 1/2 ounce [1/2 cup] goat cheese, crumbled - plus additional for sprinkling over the pasta
No-Meat Loaf

This savory loaf is delicious with Mashed Potatoes and Brown Gravy or as a sandwich filling
- 1 cup dry bulgur
- 1 1/2 cups boiling water
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 1 medium carrot, shredded or finely chopped
- 2 celery stalks, finely chopped
- 1 pound mushrooms, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1/3 cup potato flour
- 1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/4 teaspoon dried sage
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 3 tablespoons ketchup or barbeque sauce
- 1 tablespoon reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 4 teaspoons stone-ground mustard
- 1 vegetable oil spray
- 1 additional ketchup or barbeque sauce for topping
Asparagus: Cream of Asparagus Soup

Directions Place potatoes in a large pot with water
- 2 medium potatoes, scrubbed and chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1 bunch fresh asparagus
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 cup loosely packed fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- 1 - 2 cups fortified unsweetened soy- or rice milk
- 3/4 teaspoon salt, or to taste
