Almost-Famous Cheddar Biscuits (red lobster)

Position a rack in the upper third of the oven and preheat to 425 degrees
- For the biscuits:
- Cooking spray
- 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon plus 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 1/2 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons vegetable shortening, at room temperature
- 4 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
- 6 ounces grated yellow cheddar cheese (about 1 1/4 cups)
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- For the garlic butter:
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 clove garlic, smashed
- 1 teaspoon chopped fresh parsley
Salisbury Steak

Preparation Combine first 4 ingredients
- Ingredients
- 3/4 * 3/4 pound ground turkey breast
- 3/4 * 3/4 pound ground round
- 1/3 * 1/3 cup dry breadcrumbs
- 2 * 2 large egg whites
- * Cooking spray
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup water
- 3 * 3 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 * 2 tablespoons Madeira wine or dry sherry
- 1 1/2 * 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 * 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 * 1 (10 1/2-ounce) can condensed French onion soup (such as Campbell's)
Rhubarb Bread

Mix together sugar and oil, blend in egg, vanilla and milk
- 1 1/3 cups brown sugar
- 2/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cup chopped rhubarb
Lemon Bars

Cream flour, butter, powdered sugar and spread into a 13x9 inch greased pan
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butter
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 4 Tbsp flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
Jean's Chili

Brown hamburger with onions
- 2 lbs hamburger, browned with a little salt and pepper
- onions, chopped and sauteed
- 3 large cans (30 oz) Kuner's Hot chili Beans
- 2 cans tomato soup
- 1/4-3/4 cup brown sugar (to taste)
- Chili powder to taste
- Cayenne pepper to taste
- Water to make it the consistency you like
- fresh tomatoes
Potato Salad

Cook potatoes until done. Drain and let sit until cool, then cut into bite size pieces
- Cooked potatoes
- Boiled eggs
- mustard
- pinch paprika
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup mayonnaise
Lemon Raspberry Pie

1. Spoon 1⁄2 cup whipped topping into a decorating bag fitted with a medium star tip (see Tip)
- 1 tub (12 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk)
- 1 can (6 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
- Scant 1⁄4 tsp liquid yellow food color (optional)
- 12 oz fresh raspberries (about 3 cups)
- One 6-oz ready-to-fill graham cracker pie crust
Mediterranean Tuna Noodle Casserole

1. Preheat over to 400°
- 1 large onion, diced
- 1/3 cup olive oil
- coarse salt and ground pepper
- 1 pound wide egg noodles
- 2 roasted red bell peppers, thinly sliced lengthwise
- 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 5 cups whole milk
- 3 packets tuna in olive oil
- 5 scallions, thinly sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas (opt if not putting peppers in)
Mock Lemon Meringue Bars

1. Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray
- 1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated sugar cookies
- 1 cup lemon curd (from 11 1/4- to 12-oz jar)
- 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup marshmallow creme
- 1 container (6 oz) Yoplait® Original 99% Fat Free French vanilla yogurt
- 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed

- 1 * 1 pound 93-percent lean ground beef
- 1/4 * 1/4 cup flour
- 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 cups beef broth
- 1/2 * 1/2 cup canned crushed tomatoes
- * Salt and pepper
- 3/4 * 3/4 cup 2-percent milk
- 1-1/2 * 1-1/2 pounds baby spinach
