Choco-Mint Snaps

Preheat oven to 350 degrees
- 1 cup (6 oz. pkg.) semi-sweet
- chocolate chips
- 1 3/4 cups unsifted flour
- 2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2/3 cup vegetable shortening
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. peppermint extract

Grasshopper Pie

Combine the cookies and butter and press into a 9" pie plate
- 14 chocolate cream filled cookies
- 3 Tbsp. melted butter or oleo
- 24 large marshmallows
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 oz. white creme de cacao
- 1 oz. green creme de menthe
- 1/2 pint whipping cream
Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Heat water, honey and oil until warm
- 3 cups water
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2- 1/2 Tbsps. cooking oil
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 1/2 cup powdered milk
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. dry yeast
- Heat water, honey and oil until warm.
- Add 3 cups whole wheat flour,powdered milk,salt, yeast and wheat germ.
- Beat throughly.
- Stir in final 1/2 cup whole wheat flour and white flour.
- Knead 5 minutes.
Meltaways

Mix the cottage cheese, cup of margarine and flour to form dough of cookie
- Icing:
- 1 pkg.8oz. creamed cottage cheese
- 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1/4 cup melted margarine
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- dash cinnamon
- 3/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/3 cup soft butter
- 3 cups sifted confectioners' sugar
- 3 Tbsp. cream
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Sweet and Salty Peanut Butter Bites

Freeze chocolate chips and peanut butter cups until partially frozen, about 15 min
- 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 4 peanut butter cups, chopped
- 1 1/3 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 4 cups rice krispies
- 1 cup broken pretzels
Hot Homemade Cookies

Place all dry ingredients in bowl and mix well
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup quick oats
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup rice crispies
- 1/2 cup vanilla chips
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1 egg, slightly beaten
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Oatmeal Bread

Pour boiling water over oatmeal
- 2- 1/2 cups boiling water
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1 heaping Tbsp. butter
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 1/2 pkg. yeast
- 1/2 warm water
- 3 cups whole wheat flour
- 3 cups white flour
Chocolate Raspberry Linzer Cookies

In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt: set aside
- 2 1/3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1 12 oz. pkg. semi-sweet
- chocolate chips
- 3/4 cup raspberry jam
Beef, Sausage and Cheese Squares

Brown both meats together and drain off fat
- 1 loaf of deli pumpernickel,
- sourdough or multigrain bread,
- thin sliced ( 2" squares)
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 pound sage flavored sausage
- 1 pound Velveeta cheese
