Fried Cheese Patties

In large bowl mix cheese, eggs, flour, salt and sugar
- 1 (16 oz.) carton creamed cottage cheese
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
Candied Sweet Potatoes

Preheat oven 375 Layer potatoes in buttered 1 1/2 qt
- 6 medium sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled, in 1/2 inch slices.
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup miniature marshmallows
- Serves 6
Easy Macaroons

Preheat oven 350 MIx ingredients
- 2 8 oz. packages shredded coconut
- 1 15 oz. can (1 1/3 cups) sweetened condensed milk
- 2 tsp. vanilla
Southern Fried Chicken

Heat the oil to 350 degrees in a deep pot
- Paula Deen House Seasoning
- 2 1/2 lb. chicken, cut into pieces
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 1 cup hot red pepper sauce
- 3 eggs
Hot Cider Punch

combine water and spices in a large saucepan; cover and bring to a boil
- 2 cups water
- 1 tbsp. ground ginger
- 1 tbsp. ground nutmeg
- 6 whole cloves
- 6 whole allspice
- 2 (2 inch) sticks cinnamon
- 1 gallon apple cider
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
Potato Doughnuts

Roll and cut, drop in hot fat
- 1 heaping cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- butter size of walnut
- 1 cup mashed potatoes
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup sweet milk
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- a little cinnamon or nutmeg
- Flour to stiffen, just enough to handle
Peanut Butter Fudge

Combine sugar, butter and milk in heavy saucepan; bring to full rolling boil, stirring constantly
- 3 cups sugar
- 3/4 cups butter
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2/3 cup (5 1/3 oz.) can evaporated milk
- 1 7 oz. jar kraft marshmallow creme
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Chicken Cantonese

Cut meat in thin strips. Sprinkle with seasonings
- 2 lbs. chicken
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 large green peppers, cut in thin strips
- 1 cup slice celery
- 1 1/4 cups chicken broth
- 2 tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 2 large fresh tomatoes, cut in eights
- 3 cups hot cooked rice
Cuban Sandwiches

- 1 loaf french bread
- Mayonnaise
- Dijon mustard
- 1/2 lb. thinly sliced ham, your favorite brand
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- Sliced kosher dill pickles

- 2 lg. carrots, shredded
- 1 med sweet yellow pepper, chopped
- 1 lg. apple, chopped
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
