- lemon butter sauce:
- 1 c sugar
- 3 Tbs butter, room temperature
- 1 c milk
- 2 c cake flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- pinch salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 c cranberries, cut in half (fresh is best or frozen)
- 1/2 c butter
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 pt boiling water
- 2 Tbs flour
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract

- 4 cups avocados, diced medium
- 2 cups grape tomatoes or 2 cups cherry tomatoes

- 1 1/2 cups shortening (I used butter-flavored Crisco)
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 2 eggs
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 4 teaspoons baking soda (Not a mistake it is 4 teaspoons)
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon salt

- 2 tbsp. lemon zest
- 1/3 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 2 tsp. fresh thyme leaves
- 1 tsp. fresh rosemary leaves, finely minced

- 1 tsp. black pepper
