Golden Potatoes with Caper Brown-Butter Crumbs
- 3 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled, halved, and sliced 1/4 inch thick
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup drained capers, chopped
- 2 cups coarse fresh bread crumbs (preferably from a baguette)

Directions In a large pot, heat vegetable shortening until a deep-fry thermometer reaches 375 degrees F
- For the Honey BBQ Sauce:
- Ingredients
- 2 quarts vegetable shortening, for frying
- 24 whole chicken wings (about 6 pounds)
- 4 eggs
- 1/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 tablespoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornstarch
- 2 cups ketchup
- 1/2 cup dark brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons creamed honey
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 teaspoons turmeric
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt
- For the Spicy Butter Sauce:
- 1 cup hot sauce (recommended: Frank's Red Hot)
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 small bunch basil
- Salt
- For the Zest Mix:
- 1 lemon, zested
- 1 lime, zested

1. Preheat oil in a deep pan or fryer to 375 degrees
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cup corn meal
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 3/4 teaspoons salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 3/4 cups fat-free milk
- 2 egg yolks, slightly beaten
- 10 turkey hot dogs
- 8-10 cups of vegetable oil
- 5 pairs of chopsticks
Chicken Curry In Coconut Milk

1. Heat oil in frying pan / skillet
- 2 Tbsps. vegetable oil
- 2 large onions, grated
- 3 cloves garlic, choppped
- 2 tsps. turmeric
- 2 tsps. curry powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 lb. (450 grams) chicken breast, cut into strips
- 2 tsps. hot pepper sauce
- 1 1/2 Tbsps. lime juice
- 1/2 cup coconut milk
- 6 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 Tbsps. tomato ketchup
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup chicken stock

- 1 to 2 pounds chicken wings (about 12 whole wings) 1st and 2nd joint, no tips
- 2 tablespoons canola oil, plus more for frying
- 3 tablespoons grated ginger
- 1/4 cup sherry
- 1/4 cup white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce

- 1 pound well-marbled flap meat or skirt steak
- 24 fresh corn tortillas
- Carne asada marinade (recipe follows)

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 2 ripe Hass avocados
- 1 tablespoon fresh-squeezed lime juice (about 1 lime)
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 serrano chile, minced (optional)
- 2 tablespoons cored and seeded Roma tomatoes, diced
- 2 tablespoons peeled ripe mango, cut into small dice

- 1 teaspoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon goat cheese, crumbled
- 1 tablespoon pomegranate seeds

- 1/2 medium serrano chile, minced
- 1/2 cup loosely packed, roughly chopped cilantro leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt, or to taste
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice, or to taste
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons finely chopped chipotles in adobo
- 1 teaspoon fresh-squeezed lime juice, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon water (optional)
Pumpkin Angel Food Cake with Creamy Ginger Filling

Angel food cake mixes with pumpkin for a new flavor twist
- 1 1 to to 350°F. 30 1 10-inch position; heat oven to 350°F. In extra-large glass or metal bowl, beat all cake ingredients with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds. Beat on medium speed 1 minute. Pour into ungreased 10-inch angel food (tube) cake pan.

1. Line a 8x8x2-inch baking pan with foil, extending foil over edges of pan
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 teaspoon desired food coloring
- Few drops oil of cinnamon, oil of peppermint, or oil of wintergreen
Breakfast Bagel Sliders with Sundried Tomato Butter

1. Make an omelet with the eggs - just pour it into a warmed/olive oiled pan and cook till done, flipping once
- 3 eggs, beaten with salt, pepper, and a bit of milk
- Six mini bagels, split and toasted
- Handful cherry tomatoes, sliced thinly
- Some kind of breakfast meat
- 1/2 onion, thinly sliced
