Oven French Toast

Cut the bread - crust and all - and cream cheese into little chunks
- 8 slices of bread
- 2-8 oz packages of cream cheese
- 12 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/3 cup pure maple syrup

- 1/4 cup (60 mL) lard, cubed
