1. Trim fat from meat; cut meat into 4 portions
- 1 lb boneless beef top round steak, cut ½” thick
- 1/2 cup buttermilk or sour milk

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/2 pound ground veal
- 1/2 pound ground pork
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 eggs
