You can substitute the raspberry jelly for another flavor preserves
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2/3 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup raspberry preserves
Ginger-Soy-Lime Marinated Shrimp

Place shallots, ginger, garlic, soy, lime juice, and sugar in a blender and blend until smooth
- 2 large shallots, peeled and chopped
- 1 (2-inch) piece fresh ginger, peeled and chopped

- 1/2 bunch sliced scallions, white and green parts
