Garlic Tortellini Soup Recipe

1. In a large saucepan, saute garlic in butter for 1 minute
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 3 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) reduced-sodium chicken broth or vegetable broth
- 1 package (9 ounces) refrigerated cheese tortellini
- 1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes with green chilies, undrained
- 1 package (10 ounces) fresh baby spinach
- 1 . In a large saucepan, saute garlic in butter for 1 minute. Stir in the broth. Bring to a boil. Add tortellini; cook for 7-9 minutes or until tender. Stir in the tomatoes and spinach; heat through. Yield: 5 servings.
Chicken Pot Pie with Homemade Crust

- POT PIE DOUGH:
- 8 pound chicken
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 to 5 carrots, chopped
- 4 to 5 celery ribs, chopped
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 (46-ounce) cans chicken broth
- Celery seed, to taste
- Sweet curry powder, to taste
- Garlic powder, to taste
- Chicken base, to taste
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 eggs
- Milk
- Salt and pepper
Bacon & Tomato Cups

- 8 ounces uncooked fettuccine, penne, etc.
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1 small onion, chopped

- 1 teaspoon grated lemon peel
- 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 ounces cream cheese, cubed
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 plum tomatoes, chopped
- 2 teaspoons minced fresh parsley
