- 1 box yellow cakemix (I use Butter flavored)
- Reserve one cup of cake mix
- 1/4 lb melted butter
- 1 beaten egg
- Filling
- 1 large can pumpkin (I use pumpkin pie mix)
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup evaporated milk
- 1 tsp cinnamon or pumpkin pie spice mix
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- Topping
- 1/2 stick soft butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Pineapple Upside-Down Cake

1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F
- 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup packed dark-brown sugar
- 1 can (20 ounces) pineapple rings in juice
- 10 to 12 maraschino cherries

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
