Butter Cookies with Cherries

- 1/2 cup Crisco
- 1/2 cup butter - softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 tsp vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
Easy Parmesan "Risotto"

Directions Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
- 1 1/2 cups Arborio rice
- 5 cups simmering chicken stock, preferably homemade, divided
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, diced
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup frozen peas
Chuckwagon Carrots

- 3 cups carrots, sliced 1/2 inch (6 med)
- 1/4 cup cooked crumbled bacon (4 slices cooked then crumbled)
- 3 tablespoons butter margarine
- 1 tablespoon firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons green onions, sliced 1/8 inch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Roasted Asparagus and Tomato Penne Salad with Goat Cheese

1. Preheat oven to 400°. 2
- 2 cups uncooked penne or mostaccioli (tube shaped pasta)
- 12 asparagus spears
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oik, divided
- 3/8 tsp kisher salt, divided
- 1/2 tsp black pepper, divided
- 1 tbsp minced shallots
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon dried herbes de Provence
- 1 1/2 teaspoons honey
- 1/2 cup pitted kalamata olives, halved
- 2 cups baby arugula
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) crumbled goat cheese
Lady and Sons' Chicken in Wine Sauce

- 4 large skinless boneless chicken breasts
- 4 tablespoons butter, melted, plus more for casserole
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 6 ounces (about 8 slices) Swiss cheese
- 1 (10 3/4-ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1 cup herb-flavored stuffing mix, crushed
Sausage and Spinach-Stuffed Bone-In Pork Loin

Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F
- 1 bone-in pork loin (about 4 pounds or 6 ribs), chine bone removed (see Cook's Note)
- Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
- 1 cup fresh parsley leaves, plus chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1/2 cup pitted dates
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 pounds crumbled sweet Italian sausage, browned and drained
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1 tablespoon stone-ground mustard
Chocolate Chip Dip

In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and butter until light and fluffy
- 1 package (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup (6 ounces) miniature semisweet chocolate chips
- Graham cracker sticks
Banana Cake

Heat oven to 350. Spray Bundt pan with pan
- 1 box Duncan Hines yellow cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 4 med size very ripe bananas which have been mashed with the beaters
- (approximately 1 1/2 cups)
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- Frosting
- 4 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 box 10x sugar
- 3-5 tbsp. mild added 1 at a time and beaten well after each addition. May not need all 5. Stop when icing is easily spreadable.
Grasshopper Parfaits

Combine chopped cookies and mint patties
- 15 OREO Cookies, finely chopped (about 1-1/2 cups)
- 10 chocolate-covered mint patties, finely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
- 2 pkg. (3.9 oz. each) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding
- 1 qt. (4 cups) cold milk
- 2 to 4 drops green food coloring
- 2 cups thawed COOL WHIP Whipped Topping
Peanut Butter Cup Crunch Brownie Bars
