Cabbage Casserole

- 1 head, cabbage shredded, about 12 cups
- 1 onion, chopped
- 6 Tbs. butter
- 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) condensed Cream of Mushroom soup, undiluted
- 8 oz., process American cheese, cubed (Velveta)
- 1/4 cup, dry bread crumbs
- salt and pepper to taste
Cheesy Potato Soup (Cooking for Two)

- INGREDIENTS:
- 2 slices bacon
- 3/4 cup chopped onion
- 2 1/2 cups diced peeled russet potatoes (about 3 small)
- 1/4 cup chopped celery
- 2 cups Progresso® chicken broth (from a 32-oz carton)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup half-and-half
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (from an 8 oz bag)
Banana Nut Bread

Measure and sift together flour, baking soda and salt
- 2 cups sifted flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3 large or 4 small bananas
- 1 cup ground nuts
Crepe Suzettes

- 2 Tbs. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp., baking powder
- 1/2 tsp., salt
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/4 cups, milk
- 3 Tbs. melted shortening or oil
Scalloped Potatoes

Cook ingredients until thickened and smooth
- 4 Tbs. butter
- 2 Tbs. flour
- 2 1/2 tsp. salt
- 3 cups, milk
- 6 cups, thinly sliced potatoes
Cranberry Bread

Combine juice and rind of 2 oranges with 4 tbsp
- Sift together:
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 tsp. baking powder
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Sweet and Spicy Pecante Chicken with Rice

Prepare the rice according to package directions
- 2 Bags of Success White Rice
- 4 Skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
- 1 1/2 cups of Picante Sauce
- 3 tbs. packed light brown sugar
- 1 tbs. Dijon-style mustard
Zucchini Bread

Beat eggs until light and add oil, sugar, vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup of oil
- 1 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of sugar
- 3 tsp. vanilla
- 2 cups of grated zucchini
- 3 cups of flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 cup of raisins
- 1 cup of nuts
- 3 tsp. cinnamon
Hot, spiced Cider

Simmer for 10 minutes and serve hot
- 3 tbs. of honey
- 12 whole cloves
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 1/2 of lemon, sliced
- 1 gal. of cider
Poppy Seed Bread

Bake ingredients in loaf 5 small loaf pans (not miniature) for 45 min
- Beat together until thick and full:
- Soak together 1 day before 4 oz. Poppy seed
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- Stir in with eggs, sugar and Poppy seed mixture:
- 1 1/2 cup oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Gradually add:
- 3 cups sifted flour
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
